SolkindNursery

Solkind Nursery, located in a remote corner of the town, used to be the most prestigious pre-school in the area. However, in the middle of a quiet term, the school suddenly withdrew all 300 students from the school in a matter of days, citing ‘internal reorganization’ as the reason. Parents were urged to complete the formalities, but were not given a clear explanation, and the school cut off all contact with the outside world after the withdrawal. Shortly afterwards, a fire broke out at Solkind Nursery, destroying most of the building, but strangely, no one knew exactly what caused the fire, and there was no record of any casualties. Since then, Solkind Nursery has been in ruins and surrounded by countless mysteries. You will play as a detective who receives an anonymous commission to uncover the truth behind the fire.

This is a narrative-based third-person puzzle game. After confirming the base gameplay and its extended gameplay, I focused the design on how to make the player understand the whole story in its entirety by using fragmented collectible information and scene information during the short gameplay. In the design stage, I focused on emphasizing the visual information and visual guidance and highlighting the sense of time change through the present-past scene difference.
